That is our high desert here in Washington. So much fun to run around and play in, but then, I love deserts. And mountains. And plains...awww...I just love the natural areas we have.

desert? hummmmm dunno about that one....if there ain't a fishin' hole nearby, I'll pass....just kidding...I know every spot has its good and bad...I love the Blue Ridge/Appalaichians(sic?) myself...Head down there every year to see family in WV...they're not as big as your ranges, but the roads are so curvy and sharp that you can see the back of your car as you go around them

I have been fishing in a desert. Some of them actually do have rivers that run through.

I liked when Neil was talking about the various deserts in North America, which he had been to and which he was going to. Growing up we did much camping time in deserts and also in chapparel. Now when Neil talks about those places I get homesick.

I got a friend in NM that digs that too...He's RELIGIOUS about hitting the desert every year there...MUST be good...

I need to get to NM. That is where my father is from, but I have yet to see it from anything but a plane.

Nine years till the youngest is out, but the way we travel for band stuffs, maybe I will make it to NM before she is gone.

Oh, I doubt I will ever meet him. Haven't seen him since he left for his second tour of 'Nam when I was 9 months old. He came back, just not to us.

understand, and not to be nosy, but you never know.....people have a change of heart as the years go by, and if he knows you're looking for him, he'll either embrace you, or he'll run...either way, you have nothing to lose, right?

There is no proof I am his, unless I find him and make him do a paternity test. It was the 60s after all.
