not to mention your typing went to the shitter heh. Look at canada we have some socialist and capitalist methods, government banks, various other regulated stuff, amongst the various free industries, and best of all, the health care.

I would have said worst of all the health care. Did you include that in the free industries? If so, trust me, it's not free. There's a heavy tax burden to pay for it.

There have been instances of the Canadian health care system shutting down before the end of the year because it ran out of budget, stopping care for anything but life or death cases until the next year. Also, it seems that numerous wealthy Canadians who can afford it come the the U.S. when they have serious medical conditions becasue they can get superior treatment.

As to the earlier posts about all systems having pros and cons, and totalitarian democracies, etc... there's a lot of theory being thrown around. I think it wiser to look at history and to judge them all by their fruits.

pardon my ignorance sir, i avod hospitals at all costs, and have little association with them i'm afraid. I don't get sick or injured and i hope my body stays that way for sometime. Although i have seen the loss of a full hospital to a health center in my area, ( no surgeorys only xrays and light stuff sometimes long term care) it may not be perfect and yes we pay tax on it, but if you were to require a major operation, all the tax you've paid along the way, has a chance of being less than it.

Mind you, our health care system has gotten pretty messed up too, due to government interference starting in about 1968. We're in need of some reforms as well. I'm just convinced that socializing it would make things worse.

Hopefully the government can remember, it's not their money. It's YOUR money. :)

A sweeping generalization that really does not apply to most nations.

One thing I hate about Hollywood is how they have made the Native peoples look like we are all one way, when we have such diversity. Oh, and this "noble savage" garbage that they picked up and ran with! UGH! We are just as horrid (and just as good) as any other people!

Okay, done ranting. Go on with your day.

She's Native American?? That means... Oh no....
I remember watching in amazement as Geddy sang, played bass, and played the keyboards with his feet. I thought, "Who is this guy???"
