SirM', well done for joining this rather exclusive minority. I have an old demo of yours somewhere and know you're capable of so much more. Umm...that didn't come out the way it was intended I'm sure :-D .

Elfie!!! :x :x :x You make me positively seethe! :x :-D
Now, I tip my hat to a superior musician but let me give you a hint...'cute, cuddly and nice' is NOT the way to musically express yourself! Imho 'Passengers' would have benefited enormously from an edgier geetar solo sound rather than the country vibe I'm getting.
If anyone requires the theme tune for an american hospital drama then look no further than Elfie's 'Moving Forward'. What you need Elfie is a progressive drummer with a nine piece kit who has a tendency to overplay... Hopefully my more than tough influence will stop you posting pictures of cute polar bears at least :-D .

BBroO, wednesday and friday now mate but it bodes well :-) .

t, You're not the first to mention the 'D' syndrome either! :-D I'm playing very soon with a bassist I know who, no lie, is another 'Dan'. A geetar player got in touch via email hoping to jam and his name is Dave and a good mate is now learning the bass specifically for 'Husk' purposes and his name is ...'Nigel' :-D

Right, time to go.
Here's two more archival offerings:

A repost of my own creative baby, the acoustic 'Sunday' jam thing. I 'play' the opening guitar refrain and insisted that the jam revolved around my rhythm(s).

Another electronic piss about between Dan and myself, entitled 'aphex triplet'...geddit?

These were interesting times then,I couldn't sing worth a damn back then, didn't mind that acoustic piece I put together though, I am going to take a run at 'fixing' that one piece I just put up tomorow and maybe recording a jam my drummer (on guitar) and myself had , as best I can reproduce it. Waiting on my new program to arrive, it should have drum mapping and such to give things more finished feels.

I thought I was the snobby heavy metal fan on this board!

Ummm...Elf....may I have that to strap to the front of my van? The tie-dye bear who is there now is going to need replacing. ;-)

Well... I'm not much of a shredder, but you asked for it.

From my kids album, the dreaded Banana Seat!!!

We listened to that song twice, and it is the best.

I love the line, "I have a sissy bar."

That song is autobiographical I'm afraid... :-D

But no, that's not my picture.

Haha! That's a fun song. Particularly because I was that kid in 1970 with a Stingray, banana seat and sissy bar. It was the coolest thing on the block, yo. Maybe I can reconstruct one from old found and purchased parts. It would still look cool. I wouldn't, but it would. :-)

Cool soloing, man!

BrOgg,

Aphex Triplet is so cool I want to add metal guitar to it and send it to Manson. He'd probably pay you well (in blood, mother's milk and cocaine) for this spooky "electronic piss-about", as you call it :D

That's better Elfie. I wish I could understand what you're all on about though. Bike seats named after fruit?...I just dunno :-) The closest I can find is our english 'Chopper' Image I always wanted one and used to hassle my neighbour for a go on his. *waits patiently for an atmospheric Eflie chune with shredding solos* :-)

Thaks again BBroO, jamming tomorrow mate :-D

If I wasnae suffering from the after effects of a tooth extraction then I'd post a few more from the Husk archives.
I have found the very first 'Husk' recording I hosted online: featuring the original three piece line up, an instrumental entitiled 'Revive' from 2001!
Another cool find is the 'By-Tor.com' jam (complete with over the top tom intro) that was originally hosted on our webpage in 2003 Image AND I simply have to repost (I think it was hosted on the old BT forum) possibly imho the best thing I've ever done..the classic 'Too Far'...but that's for another time.
