55% Dixie for me. I did grow up in the midwest, and a ton of the guys I was in the service with were Southern or North east.

But I have been in the Pacific Northwest since 1981 so what gives?????

BTW, my results are, "48% (Yankee). Barely into the Yankee category."

I'm watching a bunch of people playing with this in another forum. No one has scored higher than 49% in the Yankee category. Some have scored 100% Dixie though.

I chose my answers based on what was considered "correct" where I grew up and got 41% (Yankee). Barely into the Yankee category.

However, the word I use really is based on whether I am in a formal situation or a casual one and if I am in a casual situation, I switch about from soda to pop to soft drink, for example, based on what I feel like at the moment.

Obviously written by a Southerner- because there's no way to score above 50% Yankee.

Other than using "y'all" I am probably as Yankee as you can get.
