Well, just got back from the pedorthist. Fun times, good muscle structure in and around feet, very flexible feet, but very very badly fallen arches, (don't even have an arch on one side really). To top it off apparently one leg is shorter than the other and I walk with a slant to that side. This problem is only treatable not fixable I am apparently stuck with it . OTC was given as an option but with the level of damage seriously discouraged. So here I am waiting for for custom /rx insoles to be made. As long as it makes the pain gone I will be happy. The cost difference is about 2x OTC if you consider lifespan (6 mo OTC, 3 yr custom) Thankfully insurance will cover 100% of that up to 200$.. unfortunately its much more than that. Either that or they will give me 50% back up to 450$ , depends how they classify things, not much difference either way. Good thing I am still in school, hence still under my fathers unions health plan.
Braces, yeah, not cheap. Scoot just had her rubberbands changed to orange and black for Halloween.
Oh yeah, when I have one leg shorter than the other I go see the chiropractor and he makes my hips go back into alignment and I am all better till the next time.

That only works if your hips are causing the leg to be shorter. If it is anatomical you are SOL.
Seeing as I saw a chiro this summer and my allignments were great except for 1 rib not quite connecting he claimed, Either way was there for thorasic strain, his crap would help for a a day or 2 then it would set in worse, so I have a distrust for the bonecrackers, good thing workers comp was paying.
Deadlifts and such tend to keep my back in very good allignment with nice evenly strong muscles.
