Just wanted evenyone to know

Hey everyone:

I know I am usually the court jester of the board, but I need to get serious for a moment.

I just wanted everyone to know that I will be going in for surgery on Wednesday- as to the degree of surgery I would guess it lies between moderate and major surgery.

I have to have 10 teeth removed and parts of my jaw reshaped- I won't get into any more detail than that (unless you are morbidly curious, then PM me), and I will be under sedation of sorts (lucid, but no pain) plus the novocaine.

I just ask for you to keep me in your thoughts and or prayers Tuesday night/Wednesday morning- this is not going to be a walk in the park for me, and I need any help I can get (spiritual or otherwise).

I will def pray for you and you be sure that when you can you come tell us how you are. That surgery sounds less than not fun!

I have to wait to hear back from the dentist.

Long story very short, without pointing fingers I was supposed to get a lot of financial help, and it fell throught this morning- leaving me the choice to foot the bill out of pocket (over 3 large for the oral surgery alone) or try another dentist.


My dentist flat out refuses to give up on me and is working the phones to come up with a workable solution for me.

Needless to say, I am very disappointed and saddened by this turn, because this was a HUGE step for me in my search for my self-esteem back.

I don't know whether to burst into tears, or scream. I have such a headache right now from trying to find the money for myself this morning
so I could at least get the bad teeth out.

Instead, I am left with the feeling like I have been kicked in the gut, hard.
