Mr. Roarke dies

Post by YYZ30 »

Ricardo Montalban passed away yesterday, at 88. He played Khan in Star Trek TOS, and reprised his role in Star Trek II (which most Star Trek geeks agree saved the TOS movie series, without II, the series of movies wouldn't have been the same.)

*snarf!*

A friend of mine had a '74 Cordoba, and his insurance company begged him to total it. We kept that thing running for over a year, 'til some shmuck driving a cab broadsided him.

Good times.

Marn had one of those Cordoba's when I got out of the service. That thing was a workhorse of a car. Ran like a bat outta hell for a good 4 years or so till the transmission esploded. Cloth seats in hers.

RIP Khan............................... I tell you, I could only wish to ever look like him at 60+ in that roll. Ricardo was a stud.

He lived a good long one but still it is always a bummer when such talent is lost to this world.
