I remember mentally masturbating over the Neil Peart Kit on ebay a while back. I think it was finally sold for something like ?12000!...and I put an extra quid on the lottery that week :-D .

What are you talking about - they are the most awesome looking basses in the world. I'll have to see if I can the photos taken my mate lent me his for a couple of gigs.

As I said, it depends on if I can find them. There's a lot of stuff still packed away since we moved in here four years ago.

The fact is that the look of an instrument is a purely personal choice and, personally, I love Rick's (ever since the first photo I saw of Lemmy on stage with Motorhead). In fact, the only bass design I've not actually liked is the JDs that Mark King out of Level 42 played. And, after trying one out myself, I liked the feel of them even less.

Chris Squire was the reason Geddy bought one. In Geddy's words, he bought the Rick "because Chris Squire played one. There was no other reason". :)

No, only of Ged.

An overly high microphone on a stand or a bassist with a pick makes me think of Lemmy. Oh, and oranges. The rest I really don't think of.

Ever see them in concert? Nothing like Spinal Tap! They had the Folksman open for them in NYC! Fucking AWESOME! :twisted:
