Here's your seat for the new tour. There may be, wait, there WILL be spoilers so if you don't want to know, don't go! So pull up a lawn chair and discuss...
back home and beat.. I think I might have accidently parked illegally which got us out pretty quickly. no traffic. I think we may have parked in the loading dock area. oh well.. no harm, no foul.. The show kicked ASS..
Kares6, Geddy said hi and Neil played an extra special drum solo for t's birthday..
Geddy also wanted Indianapolis Indiana to personally thank the rest of America for the support you have given Rush throughout the Snakes tour. Geddy said there will probably be some tears shed this evening because iit was the last show of the tour and the crew and band were not going to be together again for awhile.
Pretty awesome being there for the last show of tour. The setlist was awesome. I can't believe how heavy on Snakes it was. The first 5 songs of the 2nd half were from Snakes. They played like 8 total from Snakes.. I love the Main Monkey Biz and Witch Hunt and Bankok were just frigging awesome.. I am going to go to bed now.. I will post some pics tom.. we sat in the lawn, so the pictures probably aren't all that great, but the weather was perfect for an outdoor show.
It is SO killer that one of our own was at this concert, and one who wanted to share the experience with us with phone calls, too!
Soup called me during intermission and asked what song I wanted to hear during the second half. I told him I honestly didn't remember which songs were in which half, and he decided he would call me during the drum solo, so I could drool over Neil. hehe
He did call, too. I was driving west on the 101 toward a sushi dinner with friends for my birthday when the call came in on my bluetooth. If anyone looked at me while driving, they must've thought something was wrong I was grinning so wide! LOL The sound from his phone was really good and it was so much fun getting to hear the final drum solo of the tour!
Thanks, BillyBoy! I promise no duct tape for at least a month!
We sure did rock out didn't we t??? You know the thing that amazed me about this show.. The older teen group.. There was a ton of kids there. and they were really into it.. I would say that at least 4 generations of people were at this show, and everybody was into it.. little kids all the way to some elderly people.. It was way cool..
I've noted that at my last couple of Rush concerts, too. I think it is great that people of all generations can all enjoy Rush together. They're really good for families that way.
