By chance, did your husband watch it?
Blow me.
I am one of the few guys at my PT job that will work the SB because no one else will- plus, they have a spread in the lounge, we get fed, and if we want we can bring a small TV in to watch (I do not have a small enough TV, unless a 20" TV is small...)
Manning always said it was a dream of his as a kid to throw the winning TD to lead the Saints to a SuperBowl victory.
I can't be too mad at him though because without him we don't even get to the SuperBowl.
It was a good year and to be honest losing really did not bother me all that much. Probably because we won one a few years ago and there are 30 other teams that wished they could have gone to the Superbowl, so its all good. It was nice to see Drew Brees get the MVP too because he is one of the good guys in the NFL.
I just dug out of 33 inches' worth of snow and got back today....Yeah the
SB was a tough pill to swallow. I'm STILL feelin' the pain. On the upside,
the Colts are already a 7-1 favorite to win it all next year, so I'm
happy for N.O. this year. They need something to look up to.
